Rare, white fairy-wren photographed in western Victoria

PHOTOGRAPHER Wendy Bernhardt had heard rumours that there was a white fairy-wren around certain parts of western Victoria, and after a few weeks, she managed to come across it.
Based on the length of the tail feather, the bird is a superb fairy-wren (Malurus cyaneus) with leucism, and most likely male.
