The AG Society sponsored a team to attempt the first ascent of Tsartse, a mountain in Nepal

TSARTSE IS A MOUNTAIN few climbers have heard of and on which fewer still have set foot. Pronounced ‘sart-say’, it is located among a cluster of other little-known peaks in a rarely visited part of central Nepal. With the help of AG Society sponsorship Pete Wells – an adventurer, TV presenter and writer, successfully climbed Tibet’s Cho Oyu in 2005 and Mt Everest in 2010 – and adventurer and photographer Brad Jackson attempted to tame this peak in 2013.
