AG adventurer to feature at Melbourne film festival
“AN ENVIRONMENTAL LOVE story about sustainability and the cycle of life”, Suzy And The Simple Man takes us into the lives of Suzy and Jon Muir on their idyllic property in the Grampians.
Screening this August at the Melbourn International Film Festival, the 91-minute documentary – directed by Ian Darling – provides an intimate portrayal of the Aussie couple, whose simple lives take an unexpected turn when something unexpected changes their world.
Jon Muir is former Australian Geographic Adventurer of the Year, awarded for his record-breaking feats including traversing deserts, exploring the North and South poles and reaching the summit of Mt Everest.
However in this film, it’s Suzy who must tackle her own life challenge with the courage and love for which the adventurous couple is renowned.
Suzy And The Simple Man is screening at the Melbourne International Film Festival on 7 and 10 August.
