Astronomers continue to discuss the status of Pluto, since its demotion in 2006.

PLUTO’S STATUS HAS BEEN a topic of astronomical interest since it was demoted from planet to dwarf planet in 2006.

Now, Australian astronomers have identified many more dwarf planets in the outer solar system, re-hashing questions about Pluto’s assignment.
