Apply now for the North Face Adventure Grant

Each year, The North Face, Australian Geographic Adventure and the AG Society support a lucky adventurer - or team of adventurers - on an expedition.

ATTENTION ALL AUSSIE AND Kiwi adventurers.

The 2014 North Face/Australian Geographic Adventure/AG Society Adventure Grant applications are open so now’s your chance to make that long-dreamed of expedition a reality.

Adventure expeditions are never cheap so The North Face, AGA and the AGS have joined together to offer one lucky team of adventurers – or an individual – some support, in the form of the Adventure Grant. This grant comprises a $5000 grant from The North Face, $2000 worth of expedition-ready The North Face gear, a $3000 grant from the AG Society, along with publication of a feature story in Australian Geographic Adventure, based on your expedition.

Your expedition plans could be based on any number of adventure activities, such as trekking, alpine climbing, kayaking, rock climbing, or B.A.S.E. jumping, to name a few, and must encompass the spirit of exploration and adventure.

You don’t have to be a professional adventure athlete, either; the grant is designed to ensure all applicants have the chance to make their adventure dreams come true. Entries close December 31, 2013. To apply, go to see www.thenorthfacegrant.com.au
