THIS MAGNIFICENT BIRD, captured by AG reader Trevor Andersen from Jimboomba in QLD, is a regent bowerbird (Sericulus chrysocephalus) showing off his yellow flight feathers.

“This fast-flying bowerbird has been one of the most difficult birds to capture in flight,” says Trevor.¬†“Their fast, erratic movements make life difficult behind the lens.”
