2018 AG Adventurer of the Year
Steve overcame an almost fatal surfing accident before deciding to pursue his dream of climbing the Seven Summits. His goal was to climb the highest peak on each continent – Mt Vinson, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, Carstensz Pyramid, Elbrus, Denali and of course, Everest – in record time to raise money for Surf Life Saving and Spinal Cure.
Steve officially kicked off Project 7in4 in January 2018, beginning with Mt Vinson in Antarctica. He completed the quest with Everest, in just 117 days, reaching the summit on May 14th.
