Nectar so delicious the diners stick around!
“After seeing the Australian Bee Article in the latest AG – this local gum blossom attracts up to ten species of native bees, pictured is an Emerald Homalictus or Homalictus Urbanus, a very small bee at approximately 4 to 5 mm. This small bee is licking up nectar, some of the native bees become caught in the sticky nectar as they are so tiny! Please look closer and see the 1 mm white insect, can you spot all three?”
