THE POWER OF THIS magnificent osprey (Pandion haliaetus) was captured in Tweed Heads, NSW by AG reader Trevor Andersen from Jimboomba, QLD.

“I photographed this female osprey early one morning as she flew down from her nest,” says Trevor. “This osprey pair vigorously defended their nest site against any other raptors that ventured too close during their breeding period.”
