Father and son face climate change head on in two-year expedition

World-class polar explorer and one of Australia’s most celebrated adventurers, Dr Geoff Wilson, will embark on his latest adventure: Project Zero. Joining him is his son, 22-year old Kitale, a filmmaker with adventure in his DNA.
Geoff is an Australian Geographic Society Lifetime of Adventure awardee – honouring his six world records for expeditions across gruelling environments from snow to sand.
Geoff says Project Zero is a “father and son’s journey to Antarctica and the far reaches of the globe to dispel the mis-truths of climate change”.

The ambitious seven-expedition voyage will span two years to complete, taking the duo to some of the world’s most isolated and vulnerable environments. From the South Pole to the North Pole, they will capture the visible impact of global warming on these landscapes.
“The mission is clear – work as a team to create awareness and instigate change to protect the planet for future generations,” says Geoff.
Join Geoff, Kitale and world-recording breaking solo sailor Lisa Blair at the National Maritime Museum in Sydney on Friday 27 July to learn more about this incredible expedition. Find out more and book you ticket here.
