David finds out more about what the history of Fingal Island and the Point Stephens lighthouse
Fingal Island is home to the Port Stephens’ lighthouse, a beautiful lighthouse that dates back to the 1860s. Fingal Island is quite unique in that it is occasionally connected to the mainland. Currently however a boat is needed to reach the little island.
The island is part of the Tomaree National Park and home to an abundance of wildlife.
