VIDEO: Levi the hand-reared Tassie devil

THANKS TO THE folks at Devil Ark for sharing this video of one of their baby devils, Levi, with Tim Faulkner, head of the Australian Reptile Park and Devil Ark.

“Levi is eight months old and it’s time that he starts to see the big outside world, but he isn’t too sure,” says Tim, who was also named 2015 Australian Geographic Conservationist of the Year. “That’s why he is chasing me – he wants back in his pouch! But he does need the exercise,” Tim added.

Devil Ark is a not-for-profit Tasmanian devil breeding program near Barrington Tops National Park, about 200km north of Sydney, NSW.
