See the trailer of The Crossing – Chris Bray and Clark Carter’s adventure across Victoria Island in Canada.

Victoria Island in Canada’s Arctic beat them in 2005, but when Chris Bray and Clark Carter returned to complete the historic crossing they were armed with new equipment and the knowledge that if at first you don’t succeed, there’s only one thing left to do: try again.

On the second expedition, the pair attempted to drag their home-made kayaks more than 1000km across a remote island in the Arctic. Their story is equal parts rock n’ roll and youthful exuberance in challenging disaster. They battled freezing temperatures, knee-deep mud, and razor sharp rocks; got chased by wolves; and hid from polar bears.

The documenatry of Chris and Clark’s expedition, which won the audience award for Best Documentary at the 2013 Sydney Film Festival will hit cinemas 24 April.
