This is a working re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci’s catapult and is assembled from pre-cut and pre-drilled wooden pieces.

Catapults were first invented during the era of the Ancient Greeks and Romans, however it was during the Middle Ages that they came to prominence. Leonardo da Vinci developed a range of innovative war machines that improved upon traditional medieval designs. He designed this catapult in 1485.

The Da Vinci Catapult wooden kit is a working re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci’s catapult and is assembled from pre-cut and pre-drilled wooden pieces. Easy to follow instructions included.

This catapult is adjustable and includes principles of stored energy, ratchets and is a show piece when not in use.
