“Little bigger than a ping-pong ball, this young comb-crested jacana (Irediparra gallinacea) strides out on Yellow Water billabong, Kakadu NP,” says Anne.
“Spending their lives on water, these birds have large feet for walking on floating vegetation in search of food.”
