This stunning photo of an eight-armed sea star was taken in the waters of Adventure Bay, Tasmania.
QUEENDSLANDER LEIGH DE WIT was delighted to see this eight-armed sea star (Patiriella calcar) edging its way across shellfish encrusted rocks on the ebb tide at Adventure Bay in Tasmania. The tranquil rocky headland was covered in thousands of these tidal zone inhabitants.
