A peek into the past of the famous Ghan train is this week’s reader photo.
THIS RELIC OF THE Ghan, the train that runs from Adelaide to Darwin, is captured in this week’s reader photo sent in by Ken Sedgmen, from Coffs Harbour in NSW.
“This image was taken at sunset at Marree in outback South Australia,” says Ken. “[It] captures the setting sun lighting up one of the retired Ghan engines sitting on a disused siding.”
