From August 13 – 21 there’s in-person and online events, virtual tours, DIY science, and more, all across Australia.

National Science Week has grown into one of Australia’s largest festivals since it was first held in 1997.

In 2021, despite a global pandemic, 1.3 million people participated in more than 1750 events and activities.

This year activities and events are being held all around Australia and range from a record-breaking rocket launch in Queensland to beer science in Tasmania, and even an inflatable “poo palace” in the Hunter Valley.
