Submissions for the eucalypt photo competition, run by the Threatened Species Hub, close on Monday 22 July 2019.

The Threatened Species Hub is running a photo competition to celebrate the beauty of eucalypt trees in honour of the hub’s nation-wide assessment of the conservation status of this iconic Aussie plant.

The photo competition has three categories: trees, flowers and nuts, and features, such as bark, foliage or anything else of artistic merit.

The winning images will be included in the National Action Plan for Australian Eucalypts, an online photo exhibition and in other materials that promote the findings of the assessment and the national action plan.

The winner of each category will also win a copy of the award winning novel Eucalyptus and Eucalyptus: An Illustrated Guide to Identification.

To enter send your photos in high resolution to Teghan Collingwood ([email protected]) and include your name, the location the image was shot and what species it is (if known).
