You don’t often see a white brush turkey walking the streets.

LAST FRIDAY, we were treated to an image of a rare white magpie. And today, we have another unusual sight: a white brush turkey.

This brush turkey was spotted near the roundabout at the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive by Geoff Bensley.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it,” says Geoff. “We have hundreds of them at Byron Bay but never seen an albino one before.”

This isn’t the first time that an albino brush turkey has been spotted in Noosa. There was also this occasion. Could it be the same one?
