Meet the Penguins – Phillip Island Exclusive Tour

Small but mighty, little penguins are helping scientists understand what’s going on in the ocean. Featured in the documentary Meet the Penguins, these feathered treasures were filmed on Phillip island, which is home to the largest little penguin colony in the world.

Also featured in the documentary, which aired on the ABC, is research scientist, Paula Wasiak, from Phillip Island Nature Parks. You can join her on Phillip Island on this exclusive Australian Geographic Travel tour.

Paula will give you a research expert’s insight into the life of the little penguins, the issues and threats they are currently facing and the most recent research into protecting the species.

Following Paula’s discussion you will join your ranger for an informative journey through the penguin colony, enjoying their commentary via your personal headset. Take your seat in the wonderfully located beachfront viewing stand offering superb viewing of the penguins emerging from the water and crossing the beach.
