Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology is about to begin!

National Science Week (13-21 August) is here again, and the team at Australian Geographic is really excited! We’ll be getting along to some of the events at the Australian Museum and Powerhouse, though there are events on all around the country.

To celebrate, we’ll be putting up a different science experiment every day! You can try these at school or at home, and they’ll help you learn more about space, volcanoes and heaps more. Make sure you check back every day!

Aug 13: Experiment 1 – Erupting Volcano

Aug 14: Experiment 2 – Creating Crystals

Aug 15: Experiment 3 – Balloon Rocket

Aug 16: Experiment 4 – Acid Test

Aug 17: Experiment 5 – Faking Fossils
