EACH YEAR, PHOTOGRAPHERS from around the world are invited to submit their nature and wildlife photos to the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition, which celebrates the natural heritage of the Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea bioregions.

We announced the winners of the 2016 competition last week, with the stunning winning shots now on display at the South Australian Museum in Adelaide and the Australian Museum in Sydney, until 9 October.

We have 10 double-passes (valued at $40) to see the Australian Museum exhibition in Sydney.

To be in the draw to win, fill in the entry form below – including (in 25 words or less) your own caption for the overall winning photo, ‘Piercing Headache’ by Matthew McIntosh.
