Australian Geographic Adventure REPORTER Dallas Hewett and photographer Derek Morrison rode mountain bikes and hiked to the summit of Black Peak (1989m) in the Southern Alps above Glenorchy, New Zealand.
Black Peak is located in the recently established Whakaari Conservation Area and is still a hidden gem in the mountains around Queenstown.
