The Banff Mountain Festival’s outdoor and adventure film competition has hit our shores.

BANFF MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL’S Radical Reels, the annual outdoor and adventure film competition, is heading Down Under with 22 shows across 14 different sites throughout November.

While the world-famous Banff Mountain Festival displays thought-provoking, feature length documentaries about mountain culture and the athletes who are pushing its boundaries, the Radical Reels tour, its intense little brother, showcases the most hair-raising moments caught on film this year.

From BASE jumpers in the French Alps, to mountain bikers who are risking their lives with every ride, and even a daredevil who covers his body in small wheels and speeds down paved hills, the two-and-a-half hour collection of short films is compiled from over 300 entries.

Tickets are currently on sale for the remaining dates, but are known to sell out in advance. To view the trailers, read about the 2013 films, and book tickets, visit www.banffaustralia.com.au
