This week’s reader photo of an eastern yellow robin was captured by Chris Sanchez

Eastern Yellow Robins (Eopsaltria australis) are found in a wide range of habitats, from dry woodlands to rainforests on the east and south-east of the Australian mainland. Like all Australian robins, it is not closely related to either the European robin or the American robin, and feeds on insects, spiders and other arthropods.
