A blue dragon nudibranch braves the stinging hydroids in Bass Point, NSW in our latest AG Reader Photo of the Week.

Congratulations to this week’s AG Flickr group member Bill Kuiper, for his image ‘Blue Dragon’.

“I was diving at Bass Point near Shellharbour, NSW, when I came across this blue dragon nudibranch (Pteraeolidia ianthina),” says Bill.

“I was at a reef site called The Gutter, which is an entry point to a larger dive area. Bass Point is widely considered to be one of the best dive spots in NSW, partly because of the diversity of marine life that inhabits the area,” he says.
