Air bubbles from a dolphin swimming by the bow of a boat is this week’s reader photo

Says Jim, a photographer from Sydney, New South Wales:

“This photo was taken on a whale watching cruise out of Sydney. We didn’t see much at all until we had travelled 15 nautical miles east of Sydney, when suddenly there were Humpback whales, albatross and several types of dolphins around us. In particular, two curious bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) played around in the bow-wave of the boat for a while. They rolled onto their sides so they could look up at us, and this one blew bubbles at us.’
