THIS COASTAL SHOT of Tasmania, sent in by AG reader Ricki Eaves, manages to capture a meteor streaking across the sky and the gorgeous yellow light from Aurora Australis.

“This image was shot from South Arm Peninsula in Tasmania, overlooking Betsy Island,” says Ricki. “It was the end of a long night of aurora hunting which I do regularly.”
