We just can't handle the meerkat pups.

YOU MAY HAVE noticed that there’s been quite an influx of cute animal arrivals to Australian zoos this month. Between the ridiculously adorable meerkat quintuplets born at the Adelaide Zoo, or more recently, the addition of the unique white koala joey to the Australia Zoo family, we just can’t get enough. So we decided to put together the cutest compilation you’ll ever set your eyes on.

The white koala joey born at Australian Zoo

Australia Zoo welcomed the birth of this white koala joey back in January, but she was officially introduced to the world earlier this week. Don’t be fooled though— she’s not albino. Scientists explained that while the koala has been born with a “silvering gene”, it’s likely she’ll exhibit normal colouration as she gets older.

The meerkat quintuplets born at Adelaide Zoo

Born to proud first-time parents, Miney and Swazi, this gorgeous set of meerkat pups are the new arrivals to Adelaide Zoo. They were officially introduced to the world late last week after venturing outside of their borrow where they were under the watchful eye of their parents.

Two baby giraffes born at Taronga Western Plains zoo

Two baby giraffes, born within just one week of each other, were added to Taronga Western Plains zoo’s giraffe herd this month. Zuberi, meaning strong in Swahili and Kibo, meaning highest, were captured taking their first steps, which involved some very cute stumbles.
