Help conserve Queensland’s wildlife on this once-in-a-lifetime expedition.

If your ideal holiday includes camping, wildlife-spotting and 4WD touring, and you’re keen to travel with like-minded AG friends and nature enthusiasts, this 14-day expedition is for you.

Hosted by Red Desert tour operators and bush experts, Anthony (Macca) and Karen McDonald, you’ll depart Cairns and make your first stop at Brooklyn Sanctuary, a 60,000 ha property owned by the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and home to more than 48 threatened wildlife species.

Activities here will include bird counts, trapping, wildlife monitoring and identification. You’ll then spend three nights at the Cape York Turtle Rescue camp in the Aboriginal community of Mapoon, working to help measure and tag nesting flat back and olive ridley turtles, before meandering back to Cairns.

Spaces on this once-in-a-lifetime expedition are strictly limited. Book immediately to ensure you don’t miss out.

$3400 (incl. GST) per vehicle of two occupants ex Cairns.

Additional adult passengers $750 (incl. GST) each.

Additional passengers under the age of 15 $500 (incl. GST) each.
