The best way to explore Cape York is on one of APT’s unique small group adventures. Small groups of 20 like-minded passengers allow you to access places not available to large coach tours. On this 13 day 4WD adventure APT will take you through ancient rainforests, across the famous Daintree River, to the historic frontier town of Cooktown, the mining town of Weipa and visit Bromwell Cattle Station. Cross the blue waters of the Endeavour Strait to Thursday Island, home to 3,000 Torres Strait Islanders, and enjoy a spectacular flight over the Great Barrier Reef back to Cairns.

Travelling on air-conditioned, custom-built 4WD vehicles, this journey to the tip of Cape York, the most northerly point on the mainland, is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.
