Join Darren Leal and Philip Andrews for a two day photographic seminar, covering basic photographic tips and photoshop techniques to help you take your photography to the next level.

We are offering you two full days of world class photo tips and techniques - to all interests and for all levels. You can own any type of camera. We start each day at the basics and progress to cover travel, nature, landscapes and creative photo techniques. Your tutors are world class photo educators who will offer a lot of quality question time.

This unique event will offer help your photo interests and offer you a chance to meet other photographers. 

SATURDAY PROGRAM - May 21
9am - Introduction and start. Darran Leal starts with 'Keep It Simple' Photography tips and techniques.
10.30am - 15 minute tea break
10.45am - Philip Andrews talks about photography, Beyond The Basics.
12.15pm - Lunch
1pm - Darran Leal talks about Travel Photography. From local to international.
2.30pm - 15 minute tea break
2.45pm - Philip Andrews talks about using your images. From printing to books and audio visuals.
4.15/30pm - Wind up and finish

SUNDAY PROGRAM - May 22
9am - Introduction and start. Darran Leal covers - Visualisation. This is the key difference between each photographer and an important point to improving your photography.
10.30am - 15 minute tea break
10.45am - Philip Andrews helps you get the best results from printing with your local printer, to printing yourself. We use an Epson printer. A chance to further cover how to use your images.
12.15pm - Lunch
1pm - Darran demonstrates the value of Adobe Lightroom and how it can help make your images look fantastic. From beginner to advanced.
2.30pm - 15 minute tea break
2.45pm - Philip has written over 40 books on Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. He will offer you some top tips and techniques with these creative tools.
4.15/30pm - Wind up and finish

  • Hey Geoff, I agree with your point, but the often mis-understood concept is that it often takes great post processing to get that great photograph. Our eyes have the capacity to resolve light distribution across a huge range; much more than a camera can. Often post processing is used merely to get the most realistic portrayal of a scene as viewed by the human eye, and to counteract the problems caused by using mechanical equipment, such as spherical abberation, lens flare, etc. Report
