Patternless delma

  • June 13, 2017

The latest Australian Geographic Flickr group photo of the week.

Congratulations to this week's AG Flickr group member Peter, for his image ‘Patternless delma’

“Known as the patternless or common delma (Delma inornata), this small reptile is a very fast and elusive lizard. Yes, you read correctly, it’s a lizard, not a snake. It grows to a length of about 10cm and, unlike most other lizards, does not have functional legs,” says Peter.
