The latest Australian Geographic Flickr group photo of the week.

Congratulations to this week’s AG Flickr group member Edwinna Bartley, for her image ‘You can’t see me’.

“This gorgeous little creature was one of three or four found in a series of ponds which fed into a small stream on a property we were walking through in Tasmania. It had just emerged from the pond and was calculating the danger I posed to it before it made a dash for the stream.

It was a lovely moment to come face to face with such a unique animal – I almost forgot to take the photo,“ she says.

Edwinna took up photography a few years ago and she and her husband go hiking and photographing every opportunity they can.

“It’s a great stress reliever and we’ve had some amazing experiences with hopefully many more to come,” she says.
