Australian Geographic: Issue 103
Issue 103 | July - Aug 2011
The team at Australian Geographicis excited to annouce that we are now going to SIX issues a year.
The journal will now be produced bi-monthly, so subscribers will receive two more issues a year for the same great price. It means we can tell you more stories and give you more pictures of our great country than ever before.
To kick of the new bi-monthly issue, we have a great selection of stories from around Australia. We head up to the iconic Kakadu area to see how monsoonal rains transform the arid savannah into lush wetlands; and we take an in-depth look at the forestry industry to see its past, present and future.
We head overseas to reveal a great project in PNG helping women in poverty to provide services to Kokoda trekkers; and we take a tour of the globe to find out how climate change is affecting hardest-hit people and places.
The full articles for these features and much more can be found in issue 103 of Australian Geographic.
