Experience Tasmania was the gateway to your Tasmanian adventure! Our panel of experts set out across country last August to help you plan a visit to Australia's most diverse State. We told you about the best of Tassie from those who know it best.

Throughout August we travelled to Sydney’s Australian Museum, Brisbane’s Queensland Museum and the Melbourne Zoo to tell you all about the wonders of Tasmania (with a few free drinks and canapés as well).

The event was a great chance to meet others interested in knowledgeable travel, to share your own adventures and to use the experience of fellow travellers to find some hidden gems on your next trip to Australia’s island state. Grant Hunt, founder of Anthology and renowned travel Industry innovator; award winning Tassie ecotourism operator and conservation benefactor Rob Pennicott; and AG editor Ian Connellan, who has walked, cycled and climbed his way across Tasmania for years, all shared their experiences and answered questions about getting the most out of a visit to Tasmania.

Our panel of experts has insider knowledge of the best way to experience the many treasures of Tassie, and wowed our audience with their tales. Guests sampled Tasmanian wine, enjoyed the canapés and got inspiration for their next adventures, along with some travel offers and a free gift bag for all attendees.

We trust you had a great time at Experience Tasmania and hope to see you down in Tassie!
